Full Day of fun and Snorkel at the Catamarán
Starting the day sailing in paradise is possible on the Catamaran Palm Pleasure, a
sailboat filled with magic, relax and under the sea entertainment.
At nine in the morning, the adventure begins in Palm Beach where on the dock, between the Riu and Hilton Resorts hotels we got on board with the “De Palm Tours” agency.
A catamaran with a host that seasons the trip with anecdotes, trivia about the island and jokes that entertain everyone on the boat. There is an Arubian saying that says, “You have not seen Aruba until you sail by the coast” and I definitely verified it on this four-hour excursion where they take you to the best diving points of the island: Catalina Bay, Arashi de Coral and the famous World War II shipwreck, the Antilla Alemana. These three places are the delight of scuba divers due to their warm waters and great amount of flora and fauna that can be enjoyed at plain sight.
In the Catamaran Palm Pleasure, they include the snorkel equipment with visor and fins and a lifesaver for those who want it. The most interesting part of the entire activity is that we sail and when we get to the point with greater visibility, we stop. They lower some stairs that are fall right into open sea and you can see a great amount of fish from there. Amongst them, the famous “Blue Fish” characteristic to the island.
Asides from snorkeling, where no prior experience is needed and anyone that knows how to swim can do it; there is another modality for certified scuba divers whom, previously, can coordinate for comprised oxygen tanks in order to take this adventure deeper.
After enjoying the sea of the island: swimming, floating or making a subaquatic activity, this memorable sail day also includes a delicious buffet lunch with fruits and open bar.
I consider this one of the best activities in Aruba for families, couples or singles. The on-board attention, the scenery and overall, the price-value.
